OPTION ONE

A one-time training workshop of 1½ to 6 hours duration can be customized to focus on applied behavioral science solutions to specific organizational challenges. In addition, any of the presentations listed under "Speaking/Training Presentations" can be the focus of a training workshop of desired length.

Coaching is popular because it has been shown to be effective in raising the performance, effectiveness and productivity of executives and key managers. So, why stop there? Why not boost the performance and motivation of everyone in the organization?

Dr. Lambert's consulting/training/coaching packages offer a cost effective way of doing this. They will put tigers on your team by;

                                          ORGANIZATIONAL AND TASK ANALYSIS                                     PRE/POST PERFORMANCE TEST DESIGN AVAILABLE

A general analysis of organizational performance factors or a specific analysis of critical work functions will be done before the training (if desired). This enables the program to be customized to specified organizational needs. It also enables work performance and productivity to be objectively measured before and after the training to determine ROI.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The program begins with an exhilarating, intense six hour introductory experience of the research based "Inner Edge" high performance skills training system. The focus is on proven performance enhancement techniques that provide the most benefits in the least amount of time. This can be presented (if needs be) at one sitting, although two 3-hour workshops scheduled a few days apart would be preferable to allow for spaced practice.

Participants need not accept course content on faith. They are encouraged to test their new skills' effectiveness for themselves during metaphorical scenarios and controlled crisis situations. These dramatic experiences challenge participants' self-limiting beliefs while building the confidence necessary to actually apply new skills during critical projects or when faced with the pressure of unexpected, novel task demands. In addition, they learn that the same techniques that boost personal work performance have the added benefit of increasing the self-regulation of stress, weight and blood pressure. This empowers them to avoid the potential health hazards that can accompany a dedicated, high-performance work-style. Not only is performance and productivity enhanced, wellness is maintained while absenteeism and medical utilization decrease.

It takes most people about 21 days to internalize new skills and modify less than optimal work patterns. An explicit action plan to perfect skills through 15 minutes a day of enjoyable, relaxing "mental training" practice over a 3 week period is suggested. Interested participants are given the Inner Edge self-training manual, an instructional video and a series of CDs that guide and reinforce their practice protocol.

As part of the package each participant receives two half-hour individual coaching sessions either face to face or over the phone to answer questions, handle problems and customize the training to their individual needs and work situations.

FOLLOW UP TRAINING

At the end of the 3-week self-training period a follow-up training is provided. Techniques and strategies are reviewed and reinforced. How the training was utilized by individuals to advantage in specific performance situations is shared. Participants demonstrate their mastery of techniques, celebrate their success and learn how to further integrate their enhanced performance abilities into their daily work.

CONTINUED COACHING AVAILABLE

At programs' end attendees are invited to continue self-development and achieve an advanced level of personal effectiveness and satisfaction through continued telephone coaching at an affordable, discounted rate. The company need not necessarily subsidize this. Many employees will desire to maintain a coaching relationship at their own expense. This is a cost effective way for organizations to benefit from their employee's continued development.
